Dude- CATO what the F**k is Up? The Venezuelan award goes to....

.....a little fascist. Yes, you heard it right. The CATO institute awarded a right wing student leader in Venezuela $500,000 for opposing the Chavez regime although it is widely known his "student group" is neither libertarian or in line with any type of real free market ideology except the non-Adam Smith kind of managed markets for U.S. global corporations.... what the f**k is up that that CATO? You award fascists? You don't award the Libertario from Venezuela even? No mention of what the little fascist did to promote Bolivar's democratic vision in the nominations.... Have you lost your f**king minds, collectively? I never knew you awarded neo -mercantilism and fascism.... Like Eva Gollinger I see Exxon behind your award Yon, not liberty.... if you speak spanish, you can watch Eva parse it out here ... Why not give the brave Venezuelan Libertarians who helped stop a war with Colombia the award. Do you see that little f** k's name on any of it? No, he is a too...

Delaware Libertarian exclusive interview with Christine Smith

About the Presidential candidates from other parties, Libertarian Christine Smith says , Truth is my highest priority. Sincerely sharing what I believe and what I will do for the American people is what my platform is about. I do not equivocate, nor do I try to be all things to all people. Thus, you can imagine how it feels to have entered the dark world of American politics and how it feels to watch and listen to other presidential candidates. I keep asking myself, how can the American people take such candidates seriously? Thus, Delaware Libertarian posed the following tough questions to see what kind of truth we'd get: 1) Even when the United States has withdrawn from Iraq, the issue of our relationship with Iran (and the potential of an Iranian nuclear program) will still be high on the new president's foreign policy agenda. What are your initial thoughts on handling the issue? What Iran decides to do with its nuclear fuel program is its business - be it for energy, or we...

Coming Tomorrow: A Delaware Libertarian Exclusive Interview with Christine Smith

Libertarian Party Presidential hopeful Christine Smith answers the following questions right here tomorrow: 1) Even when the United States has withdrawn from Iraq, the issue of our relationship with Iran (and the potential of an Iranian nuclear program) will still be high on the new president's foreign policy agenda. What are your initial thoughts on handling the issue? 2) The new president will inherit an economy potentially in deep crisis, with the dollar floundering, foreign investors owning a huge chunk of our debt, the "mortgage bomb" exploding, and energy costs skyrocketing. What principles will guide you as president in restoring the American economy? 3) The drumbeat of the so-called progressive candidates is that they will provide government-mandated health insurance for every American. How will you convinced the millions of uninsured voters that the application of Libertarian principles to today's health care problems will benefit them? 4) Libertarians ...

How to build a big lie: Obama supporter suggests libertarians equate with terrorists--NOT

This is where we've ended up in today's politics. Eric Dondero, a former Ron Paul aide who has disowned Dr. No and attempted to set himself up as the guru of so-called Mainstream Libertarians , carries this rather inflammatory note on his site: Obama Campaign attacks libertarians, plus racist CNN footage of Obama's supporters in Indonesia 04/22/08 -- A top Obama aide compared “libertarians” to Terrorists yesterday. NR’s David Frum at In The Corner, has the exact quote. Intrigued, I went to National Review Online (and it really would have helped had the link Dondero provided gone directly to the quote, but in a moment you'll find out why I suspect that was no accident) to see for myself: What does astonish me however are the defenses we are beginning to hear from Obama's fellow Chicago academics. Listen to this from Cass Sunstein (a former professor of mine, I should mention): Ayers is one of numerous people, in the Chicago area, whom Barack Obama has run across. Ob...

REAL ID Is Already the Law of the Land.....

.....and as the Republic Magazine exposes, we have until May 11 to comply with it. It is was nice living under a constitutional republic while it lasted . But as we have noted before this is simply a continuation of the same technological programs that another government used that led to more than one genocide . I think we all know the famous "your papers please...." but how many of us know that Pol Pot used them too ? I have a national ID card from a citizen of a nation who knows a thing or two or three about the risks they carry......let me share it with you.....this one is from the CCCP ..... And it is being implemented in the United States now......By 2017 all of your personal information will be in a government database, one can only wonder if the site administrators will be listening to Deutschland Uber Alles at that point? It is not a comforting thought to know that your sexual orientation, race, gender, age, credit score, medical records, will all be embedded o...

There will always be an England--apparently not

From our friends at the Libertarian Alliance I discovered that the EU has begun drafting plans to essentially eliminate national boundaries in Europe in favor of transnational regions . England would be split between the Transmanche, North Sea, and Atlantic regions (see map from The Sun ). At first I thought maybe this was a typical internet scam, but the Telegraph actually managed to get an acknowledging quote out of some EU officials: German ministers claimed that the plan was about "underlying the goal of a united Europe" to "permanently overcome old borders" at a time when the "Constitution for Europe needs to regain momentum". I've never been a big black helicopter-Council on Foreign Relations-MexAmeriCanada conspiracy theorist. Among other things, my John Birch Society membership expired some while back, and I haven't gotten around to renewing it. One of these days. Yet I have to admit that this prospect of deconstructing Europe is . . . di...
