Posts here have been in short supply as I have been living life and trying to get a campaign off the ground. But "11 questions to see if Libertarians are hypocrites" by R. J. Eskrow, picked up at Salon , was just so freaking lame that I spent half an hour answering them. In the end (but I'll leave it to your judgment), it is not that Libertarians or Libertarian theory looks hypocritical, but that the best that can be said for Mr. Eskrow is that he doesn't have the faintest clue what he's talking about. That's ok, because even ill-informed attacks by people like this make an important point: Libertarian ideas (as opposed to Conservative ideas, which are completely different) are making a comeback as the dynamic counterpoint to "politics as usual," and so every hack you can imagine must be dragged out to refute them. You better keep your phone locked.
I don't censor people. I cut off trolls, You are a troll.
How is that different from big government? Simple: I own this blog. I make the rules because it is my property.
You have no inherent right to speak here, especially when you are not trying to communicate, but are trying to destroy.
Don't like it? Go start your own blog and see if you can attract an audience.
You've got as much "right" to post here as anyone--which is to say whatever rights I give you. This blog is private property, and if you were actually a Libertarian you'd know that means I have the absolute right to do any damn thing I like with your comments.
Want me to leave your comments up? Then post something that has something to do with the post you are commenting on, and stop posting crap about other people that has nothing to do with them.
Otherwise go the hell away or quit whining. Your choice--just remember--when you piss me off it takes less time to delete them than it does for you to write them.
Sounds like someone didn't pass basic civics ...

By the way, you are done for the evening here.
