It costs 7.5 cents to make a nickel; and you're worried about Pennies?

You just need to read this to believe how absurd the politics of money creation has become.

It is literally not worth a penny. But a penny is worth much more than one cent.

I would say sell all the nickels and pennies you have saved to a metals dealer, you'll get a better deal than at the bank.

In Australia a few years ago we dropped the 1 and 2 cent coins and prices at the checkout are rounded out to the nearest 5 cents.

Hi Jim thanks for stopping by and your post.... I am afraid that common sense and sanity have taken a back seat in the states.

I am sure the only thing to be rounded out in the states will be our middle class who will be rounded down to less than 3 or 4% of the population as Atlas Shrugs.

Sunshine State Poll: Grayson In Trouble The latest Sunshine State/VSS poll shows controversial Democratic incumbent Alan Grayson trailing former state Senator Dan Webster by seven points, 43 percent to 36 percent. A majority of respondents -- 51 percent -- disapprove of the job that Grayson is doing. Independents have an unfavorable view of him as well, by a 36/47 margin.
