According to the Pentagon there are 834 military buildings in the First State.
According to DOE there are only 189 public schools (although this number probably excludes charters).
Put another way, there is a school for every 630 students, but a military building for every 143 students.
(And this accounting excludes virtually every National Guard and Reserve armory in the State, because due to Pentagon reporting policies these are not on installations).
