I have an answer from Chalmers Johnson, who I normally disagree with, it is called Military Keynesianism and much of it relates to the new Department of Defense Budget....in addition to discretionary spending without stabilizing the natural productive forces within America and encouraging excessive consumer spending , corruption and increases in local, state and federal taxation as well as the hidden taxes of inflationary pressures, fees and licensing. Again the Chicago school of economic theory wins my economic warfare of the year award....
