Does it freak anybody else out...


... that we can spot a planet less than twice the size of Earth at a distance of 457 light years?

Hube, we should discuss the Rare Earth hypothesis sometime. I'm beginning to believe that the odds are that we're the only intelligent life in the galaxy (or that we're among VERY FEW examples of intelligent life in the galaxy--I'll be shocked if there are three or more).

I'd love to be wrong, though.
