Greenspan critiquing the McCain plan (and even the Democratic glee at hearing that critique) are important pieces of news, and deserve the coverage.
But, all of a sudden, about the twelfth paragraph, without any transition, the story jumps into problems McCain has connecting with his base and the impact of Sarah Palin on that process...
...which has not a damn thing to do with the rest of the story.
