Blogger bites dog, or something like that

Newspaper steals blogger's post--verbatim and without attribution.

Blogger confronts newspaper editor.

Newspaper writes him a $500 check to avoid lawsuit.

After Bob gave me the check, I drove down the street to the bank and cashed it before he had time to stop payment on it. I wasn't sure he would, but I didn't want to give him the opportunity. He was pretty angry.
Unfortunately for those of us in Delaware at least, Nichole Dobo, Wade Malcolm, Beth Miller, and Jon Starkey are all too damn honest for this to become a viable strategy.

That, and we can't write without deploying insanely charged rhetoric and intentionally hyperbolic language that makes our work product unsuitable for masses. It is the same reason we are sparsely read, all things considered.
