That's awful. A couple years ago, I read Eric Burns' Infamous Scribblers. It's about "journalism" at the inception of the USA's founding a shortly thereafter. The amount of anonymous and pseudonymous writing that went into the country's founding and propelled various debates of great import was palpable. It would be a shame for a state to banish (as if they could in any case) that tradition.
